Traditions!
We've always, for as long as I can remember, cut our tree down in the Santa Cruz Mountains. When I was living down in Los Angeles I am pretty sure I managed to come home every December for this tradition- honestly, it's one of my favorite days of the year! Last year Eloise was about 6 weeks old and Tim and I practically sleep-walked our way through the Christmas Tree lot ... What a difference a year makes in a young ones life! She couldn't wait to climb out of my arms and explore the farm and it's such a joy to see her little face full of wonderment. These kinds of traditions mean so much to me and my family and I hope we can continue the old and introduce some new ones this year too.
